Guest guest
Cool,Girlscout, your day sounds like so much fun What kind of breed is Scout? That's special encountering Pardner like that--I love synchronicity! I know what you mean: we had a black Giant Schnauzer when I was a kid (actually right through my teens) and I got to hang out with another one about two years ago and he was so much like my childhood dog it was like I could fully feel his presence right there with us and really feel his spirit and how wonderful and noble and good he was. That feeling of joy and peace is absolutely magical and uplifting. Thanks for sharing that. Guest guest
I love dress-ups like that!! Its so much fun! Ive only recently got my first dog Suki - a newfoundland cross who is already enormous at 6 months! She is amazing and Im so glad I got her. She is just like a person. I also just set up a fish tank, and between the fish and the dog, the environment in my house is alot more fun. Animals are fantastic, and I never mind doing all the stuff needed to keep them happy and healthy - I love it! > > Hi everyone, > I had a magical day today and i just wanted to share. i dressed up for sort > of a Halloween party with my friends. Guest guest
Ha ha Crazy - that is such a fun time with a young giant puppy like that!!! I've enjoyed my dogs so much! Of course, being a Cowscout Boygirl, I grew up around almost every type of animal under the sun - we even breed and toyed with showing dogs, me and my old man. Yeah, the cool things about dogs is that they are just like people, except their motivations are clearer, easier to figure out. So they are easier to trust, in my opinion. And they don't hold back. When they love you, they will haul their 60 lb boney ass into your lap and nibble on your thumb for 45 min, an hour, however long you can handle it. Ha ha, Cowboy did just that 2 days ago. - Scout is a Welsh Terrier. They are fearless clown dogs who love people and love to learn and play. They aren't real common. She is going to be 5 years old on November 30. Cowboy and I drove halfway across the country by ourselves and emptied our savings account to add her love to our lives. She was the cutest little black ball of fur. She looked just like a curly toupe on the floor. I met dear boyfriend soon after, and that was good, because I needed the help. She was a handful! Ha ha She loves plushies, squeaky toys, treats, and most of all her mom (me) and still acts like a puppy. She also loves her brother, Cowboy, but picks on dear boyfriend's rottweiler, Loki. Scout is 17 lbs, and Lok is small for a Rott, about 60. But Scout runs the show! Scout was preceeded by my beautiful baby, the love of my life, a little girl Airedale terrier named Mimi. She only lived to be 5.5 years old. November will be the 5th year since she died. As you can tell, I think about her every day. Mostly happy memories. I love my dogs now, but Mimi was mine during a difficult part of my life, when I realized I was going to have to be NC and went through my divorce. She provided most of the love, comfort, sense of routine and continuity and basically, she gave me a reason to keep going, breathing, walking and playing with her - her! Scout and Mimi look very similar, just on different scales, and Scout is a stout little chub girl (I try to keep her trim, but she loves to eat!) and Mimi was a tall, long, skinny lanky drink of water at about 70 lbs and tall enough that I could rest my hand on her back without bending down. And I'm a pretty tall girl myself! Well thanks for listening to my fun story about a little visit from my baby girl. . . Something in Pardner's face made him look more like Mimi than Scout. Ahh the babies, they bring me so much happiness! On Mon, Oct 4, 2010 at 2:01 AM, crazy150345 wrote: > > > I love dress-ups like that!!
