Hi all, I'm just a few weeks new to the group and was hearing so much about lugol's iodine / parasites I thought I'd try an experiment, am having amazing results! Here's my simple/stupid recipe for wormies galore -1 drop lugols 2%iodine1tsp organic apple cider vinegar2 carrots and an appleI started giving this to my 3yr old once a day three days ago and you would not believe what is coming out of the poor child. At least 7 different kinds of worms, and thousands of them. I know it's horrifying, but I am so excited at this simple new way to help him! I traveled extensively to third world countries while growing up, so although I'm loathe to think about it, I'm sure I'd better start my own protocol. that is really interesting. I've started paragone and had to back off--had some die off, took some charcoal.

Still slowly going with paragone (my first time--in the second to third week) and just this week I've added a small amount Braggs organic apple cider vinegar to the daily routine--I just put in water or chug it.

I feel a definite (gas) reaction in stomach initially, but then no problems. I think I'm feeling "clearer"--no other things are happening.

i figure the ACV with mother cannot hurt--esp. since I've always been yeasty and now my cholesterol is up--I heard that the AVC can help it.

I love reading all these tips--thanks for sharing guys.

what about the combo is killing them. I am new to the group and pay attention to

the smart bossy moms who stand out, and Cheryl talks a lot about lugols soooo

I googled it, found it at www.JCrows.com where I learned about the combo which

makes cattle unsuitable hosts for bugs, thought I'd try it in a human dosage.

W/in 15 min.'s of his first 'serving' he was pooping worms. Lots, and lots of

worms. So far it's just made him tired and grumpy, we are on day 3, I bet the

little vermin are offgassing or something equally rude. Looking forward to

whittling them down and seeing the changes though. I'm really grateful for this

Just one drop, he's 3, aprox 30 lbs... Ask Cheryl the iodine dosing info - I'm

stalking her notes for info as it is.

Hey, I was just curious about one more thing -- did you guys get positive results back for parasites from a stool sample?  I haven't been able to find these parasites in stool samples but I know that they're there because we saw them in the live blood cell and there've been some other indications of parasites.  WTH?  I've done 2 parasite panels already and both came back negative for any parasites.  These stool sample tests aren't cheap.  I paid something like over $300 for the comprehensive stool sample from Genova Diagnositics and I was really disappointed when it came back negative for anything.  We did one through the public healthcare system here and I wasn't surprised when that came back negative for anything.  I'm waiting for the results of a third test (which cost another +$150 from Doctors Data).  You know, I think when I hear anyone say that they're going to test for parasites now, I'm gonna tell people about this recipe and iodine.  I'm gonna just start treating with iodine anyway and I'm not doing anymore parasite panels.  They're freaking expensive and what am I going to do with that info anyway -- fight the parasites.  I can buy a mountain of iodine and ACV and parasitic treatments for how much I've spent on the tests trying to find out which parasites are there.

The parasite tests have really pissed me off.

I have the vinegar and the lugols. We don't juice here. Can I just use frozen

apple juice to start out? What is special about juicing the apples and carrots?

our toilets, right? What if it's just a few worms and I don't see them in the

stools? My daughter is in diapers so I can dig through her poop, but my son is

potty trained (thankfully).

How does the lugol's 2% solution equate to Iodo-plex? I mean how many milligrams

of iodine are in say a drop of the solution, then I can calculate the

comparison. We have been using the iodo-plex and I'm just wondering how much to

put in the " juice " . thanks. So looking forward to this one. Or should I say

cringing looking forward.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but you mention your own possible

infestation (travel is a huge source) - it is recommended that you also treat

your whole family (including pets) at the same time. Parasites are VERY

contagious, which could even be how your child got them in the first place. By

just treating one person in the family, reinfection of that person is eminent.

Also, you want to treat for 30+ days typically, so you can reach the parasites

in all of their different stages. When a parasite is in it's cyst stage, it

cannot be killed by most things. You would usually start 4 days before a full

moon and continue through the next full moon. For difficult cases, it may need

to be repeated frequently throughout the year. I believe another full moon is

around the corner....We are on a parasite cleanse now too.

I hadnt heard of that one so i googled. All i found was this:

Iodo-Plex

Each drop provides 12.5mg. complex of iodide & iodine from Potassium Iodide and

free Iodine.

Where did you get the Iodo_Plex? Curious cause thats a very strong

formulation(couldnt determine if it was a Lugols formulation which depends on

ratio, does have both iodine and iodide), much stronger than you are suppose to

be able to buy in the US. The google search only produced one place to buy it

and there wasnt much info with it. It seems to be an ingredient in a gauze

dressing?

One drop of Lugols 2% is 2.7mg so the Iodo-plex would be about 5 times stronger.

It would burn the skin, perhaps severely, if applied undiluted.

We aren't talking about live worms are we? Ours are dead, and sometimes I'm not

sure what is undigested food and what is a parasite. But some were pretty

clearly parasites.

Does anyone know if there is a greater advantage to using prescription drugs as

opposed to these " parasite cleanse " products you can buy at the vitamin stores?

I know what is in them, I just don't know what works the best.

We have done for several different infections and it is my experience that the

most effective treatment is to do both simultaneously and to treat long term.
