I'm relatively new to IE, but in reading the posts over the last few weeks, I

found myself obsessing over what I should or shouldn't eat and focusing more and

more on food. I came to IE to stop the obsession and just try and live my life.

Then it hit me. I don't have to eat what others are eating or think so much

about it. I just have to relax and listen to MY body. This is MY life and I

need to make it about me. Maybe protein helps you stay full for longer, but I

don't always want to eat it. And I don't have to!!

I also figured out that food tastes better when you are actually hungry.

As a mom and wife, it's often about others. I tend not to put my needs ahead.

I vow to make it all about me when it comes to eating. I love reading about

other journeys, so thank you.
