Surprised at amounts

Hi all,

I am finding that sometimes I am surprised at the amounts of food my body wants.

I am waiting until I am hungry and then eating until I feel satisfied. But

there are times when normally I would have stopped eating much earlier (because

my brain says that's enough). The thing is that in the past, I would have been

hungry again within an hour of eating. Instead, the food lasts me at least

about 3 hours. It is quite interesting to me how my body seems to want such

different amounts of food at different times (or different days). It really

does make " prescriptive " eating seem so wrong. We don't need the same amount of

food every day, but it averages out to the right amount over time.
