Guest guest
Hi a, I would get a new pulmonary Dr. ASAP if you have ANY doubts about the one you have. Where are you? I go to Shands is Gainesville. I'm a couple hours from ville. You may need more 02. My saturation drops unless I have it higher when I get on my feet. If you don't have an oximeter I would get one. You can buy it on line. Then you can check your saturation when resting then with activity. I'm sorry you have been so sick. I try to be so careful when I go out not to get close to anyone coughing or sick. God Bless. I hope you feel better soon.Peggy, ipf 6/04 Florida Happy moments, praise God.Difficult moments, seek God.Quiet moments, worship God.Painful moments, trust God.Every moment, thank God. I am recovering from double phnumonia (1st time). On O2 at 3 24/7. Getting PT and Nurse visits at home now. All new to me. My O2 is at about 94 on 3ltr at rest, but as soon as I stand up and do anything it drops to low 80's. Will this improve?I have IPF, COPD, Fibromyalgia and CAD. Can you tell me how long I should wait to get another opinion on my dx. Only one pulm in town and not very co-operative. Any info I have had to get myself. Results came from CT taken last week in hospital that said there is significant increase of disease from last yr CT.Working on appt at Mayo in ville.Any help much appreciated.a Daughton
Guest guest
a, I had double pneumonia the summer of 2006 and it took me months to get back to normal. Rest, rest, rest, and baby yourself as much as you can. Also, since then I got a pneumonia shot and haven't had it since. I would also get the second opinion as soon as possible especially if you don't feel good about your pulmo. God bless you- Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 California Phnumona I am recovering from double phnumonia (1st time). On O2 at 3 24/7. Getting PT and Nurse visits at home now. All new to me.
