Guest guest
Well Cy, I must admit I am slightly younger than you, but not by much! Guest guest
Thanks, I will get some of that and try to keep footies on my feet. I was so used to going barefoot it felt so restrictive to have something on them all the time. but in the winter they get cold. I would not mind so much if it was just calluses but a little bit of it is open and the skin heals and then cracks around it. Sometimes it is tender and sometimes it is hard to feel anything. And it is about 8 months now I have been dealing with it. And I worry because the doctor doesn't seem to think it is such a big deal as I did. diabetics and going barefoot >> >> >> >> Hi all. >> I have heard that people do not tend to run around their house barefoot. >> They say it is not good to do because u might step on something that >> hurts your feet ie causes an infection or problem. >> >> I however go barefoot all the time anymore. >> The only time I am not barefooted is when i go somewhere. >> What do others have to say on this subject. >> Btw, I do have a scar of my right foot but it is from the leg braces >> that i ware to walk. Guest guest
That is why you need to see a good podiatrist. Guest guest
It wasn't quite that bad and I did have some time but boy when it started coming I had to keep my cassette book player in there and start reading because I could not trust moving out of there for a while! LOL. Guest guest
Oh that sounds like a good idea and had some of that because he had foot problems about two years ago. Georgie put that on there and wrapped his foot and it healed within a month. But he cannot walk and so I do not think wrapping it up would work for me because I do have to go in the kitchen and basement to function for cooking and washing clothes. Guest guest
their are shower shoes. their are also shoes, not fins for swimming. Betty Emmons Re: diabetics and going barefoot By the time I was six years old I learned how to prevent loosing toe nails. There is nothing more excrutiatingly painful than running into a root, stump or rock, and having it almost knock off your toenail, but not quite. Then It had to be pulled the rest of the way off by hand or pliars. For me wearing shoes stopped all of those accidents. Occum's Rasor,Harry Abolish private property vote Democrat.
