As most of you know I'm still in the initial phase of finding out the balance

between what full is and knowing when to stop when I am full. Although this

time has been frustrating for me I am learning about myself as I go which makes

me feel better.

On Wednesday I worked really hard to keep checking in with myself and eat slowly

enough to know when I needed to stop; it worked, no overeating and I felt like I

had so much energy to accomplish things.

Yesterday I was going fairly well in the morning and then work got hectic and

before I knew it it was 2:30 in the afternoon and I was starving. I proceeded

to eat my whole lunch which was more than enough to fill me and then snacked a

bit in the afternoon. By the time I got home for dinner I wasn't very hungry,

but I ate a bit of my dinner anyway and then found myself not feeling satisfied.

I munched on some things in the evening and just never found what I really

wanted.

Over the past two days I've learned that I need to eat before I'm starving and

that if I'm not hungry or the food isn't what I really want I should just stop

and walk away.

Thanks for all of your support, ideas, and kind words. I can't tell you how

helpful it is to have a place to talk these things through! Thank you!!!
