Much better success obtaining blood samples

I had posted previously that I had constant issues with obtaining enough

blood to get an accurate reading. After the discussion on this list a few

days ago regarding lancing devices and lancets, I decided to try some

different ones. I was using the Acucheck Multi-click device and

corresponding lancet cartridges. I had a few different devices around so I

switched to the plain old lancing device that came with the Prodigy

originally. It uses very generic lancets obtainable from any drug store. I

was thrilled to see that using this device and lancets, I'm able to obtain a

really good sample on the first try almost every time. Once in a while I

have to give it a second poke, but not very often. It does hurt a little

more but the more accurate results and the fact that I don't have to take

several stabs at it each time is well worth it. Just thought I would

mention it here for those having the same issue.
