Guest guest
Please speak to your doctor and, or nutrionist about whatever you are not sure of, and remember that not all " diabetics " require the same thing and we are all very different in our eating habits. some of us can eat a bit more of what we probably shouldn't, but in moderation. Guest guest
Granola can be high in carbs and fat. It depends on exactly what's in it. Find out, and you can make a better evaluation. Or, try some and see how it effects your bg by doing some extra checks. If it's on the high side as far as fat content, you might not notice high blood sugars until 6-12 hours later. Guest guest
Dr. said for him to have lots of liquids and stay hydrated because we are having really warm weather. He prescribed him to have Valium for bed time and he will send someone to draw blood from both of us to see what is going on. He told me to have my son wash off his belly where the feeding tube is with 50 percent water and 50 percent peroxide. Besides that, nothing much else. So I have to be careful with him but so far no hospital. So that is good.
