I probably have effectively done what you've said, already, at SP. Though I

don't log food anymore because seeing the calories isn't good for me. Starts

making me think I'm eating too much. I wish you could turn off all the nutrient

fields so I could just show the item, without having to focus on the rest. The

message boards was a big part of SP for me, and most are just way TOO diet

focused. I kind of thought so, even before I started IE. Reading some of those

messages really makes you understand the extent of disordered thinking most of

us have when it comes to dieting. I've seen a couple of other boards that seem

to not be quite so diet-focused, but by and large, they didn't seem to have much

activity, so kind of seemed like what's the point? I don't know. I'm

conflicted. There's a lot to like about SP, but I'm not sure it won't hold me

back. But for now I'm hanging on to it. Maybe later I'll change my mind.

I wish I could do yoga videos (or any videos) at home. I just don't enjoy it.

For one thing, I have a tiny house, so I have very little room for exercising.

But the other thing is that I find with yoga, in particular, it's really hard

for me to do the moves right without having an instructor in person to help me.

You think you are, but often you're not. I never realized that until I started

taking classes in person with a really good instructor and when he would correct

my moves, it would make such a difference. I found the same thing with weight

training when I started working with a personal trainer. Amazing how many

weight training moves I was doing wrong before without realizing it. Not only

was I risking injury, but they're much more effective when you do them properly

and actually work the muscle you're supposed to be working. Who knew? LOL.
