Guest guest
Hi Judy, It's Connie here. I'm so glad you decided to actively join our group, although I'm sorry to hear that you have RP. I joined the group a few months ago and, believe me, it is one of the best things I've done in my life. Everyone here is so supportive and loving. You can talk about your good days, your bad days, ask questions...just about anything goes! And you'll find that we also like humor too! I am 53, live in NJ and have 2 grown children and one grandchild. I've had RP for about 15 years and have been able to function fairly normally and work full-time during those 15 years. It's just been since this past March that I've had to go on disability. My main problem has been with my eyes. (By the way, I have no visible deformity in my ears and nose as a result of RP flares even though I've had numerous flares there.) Hang in there! I know it must be a very bewildering and scary time for you now. But we'll do whatever we can to help you get through it! Sending warm wishes and gentle hugs your way! Love, Connie
