Guest guest
Well, I do "hurry up and wait" quite a bit! It's pretty hectic now, but my boys are getting older fast and they won't be here forever. Driving them around is a pain sometimes, but it also means that we talk a lot and have a pretty good relationship. I wouldn't trade that for all the calm in the world (most of the time, teehee). Sometimes I'll get a Taco Bell burrito, but the sodium is very high so I can't do it too often. Soup is a good idea--I have a dal recipe that uses French lentils that I haven't made for a while and I really love. Pack up a thermos of that and I'd be set! I really prefer eating at home but of course that isn't always possible. When hunger strikes and I'm out and about, I have no problem with grabbing some fast food, but I try to make healthier selections. When I'm too tired (or lazy) to cook, leftovers, soup, sandwich or something quick out of the freezer works just fine. Sometimes if I know the day before that I'm going to be away from the house for an extended period, I pack my insulated carrying container (Arctic Zone) with some food. My suggestion is go with flow and do what feels right for you! Jeanne
Guest guest
Sohni, in the future don't know who will treasure this time more with your kids, you or your boys. Enjoy and savor every minute of it! I salute you for being a stay-at-home mom; you ladies have the hardest job in the world! Jeanne
