Guest guest
Candles are bad. Type into Google candle burning and health or candle burning and lead. http://publish.bsu.edu/ien/archives/2000/080300.htm Subject: theory about candlesTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Friday, March 11, 2011, 7:40 AM Hello, I had a situation at a friend's house and wanted to test out my question with everyone. I spent two hours the other day in a house that had several smelly candles burning. At the end of my visit, I had a phlemy, scratchy throat. This friend has two kids with delayed speech. Does anyone think that the candle use could contribute? I recall another friend who used candles which led to mold growth on the walls. Any thoughts? Thanks! Guest guest
Lead wicks, phthalates in the fragrance, some are soy wax. Boo to candles. Guest guest
Judy, Thank you so much for sharing the link to the article about burning candles. My son has asthma (along with a myriad of other health issues) and we have, more than once, had to leave someone's home where candles were burning, because of asthma attack or severe coughing, leading into wheezing, etc. This explains so much! - Jeanne
