Guest guest
Natural Factors Olive Leaf Extract 500 mg capsule. I open the capsule and mix into juice. Divide the juice into three portions and give it to him 1/3 in morning, 1/3 at lunch, and 1/3 in evening. On empty stomach works best. Start slow with 1/3 a day only. Then 2/3 the next week and finally all 3 in the third week.Don't increase amount if die off is causing bad symptoms.Which brand of olive leaf extract do you guys use? I need a liquid, my son is 3 and can't swallow a pill. And how much dosage do you use? My DAN doc has him on everything else but is convince he doesn't need viral support because I have never given him a live virus vaccine. I do not agree and think he needs something. Does OLE work? Thanks,Judy
Guest guest
Does it taste bad though? He only drinks water and potato, rice and almond milk, he doesn't like juice, go figure. I bought Thorne's capsules and opened it and it tasted terrible. So now I am taking it. Do you actually see die off? Awesome! Which brand of olive leaf extract do you guys use? Guest guest
I don't think it tastes that strong in the juice, and Stan drinks it without any protest. You may need to add alot of the various types of milk you use so that it's really diluted, or maybe you can try a chocolate variation of the milk by buying chocolate almond milk or adding cocoa to it.Olive leaf extract does many wonderful thingshttp://www.gofacebookogle.com/igSo it's worth trying it.Does it taste bad though? Guest guest
OLE does big things for my PANDAS son. He's not a good candidate for abx so OLE's a very important piece of our protocol. Get a brand with a high oleuropein percentage. The best I've found so far is Swanson's "superior herbs" line with 20%. The caps are 750mg which brings our dosing down to 2 per day rather than 3. Guest guest
I have seen autism docs report and other reports that children are not only born with viruses, but also get them from pets, insects and other biting vectors, and from other people. At this point, we are so " in the dark " as to what is really going on that I think it's best to go by the fact that most parents are reporting improvements in their children when using anti-virals. Guest guest
I've been using Brainchild's OLE since it's a non-alcohol based liquid. However, I can't seem to find how strong it is--anyone have an idea on this? We saw no reaction from it so am wondering if it was not strong enough? Also just read on their site that OLE should not be taken while on antibiotics as it's supposed to cut down on the effectivenss of the antibiotic--why would that be the case? > > I have seen autism docs report and other reports that children are not > only born with viruses, but also get them from pets, insects and other > biting vectors, and from other people. Guest guest
Barleans is the only liquid we've used. Tastes terrible, but really they all do. We use swansons and one other brand. What is most important is the concentration being at least 20%I have been able to hide it in apricot apple sauce, but nothing hides the taste completely.Hope this helps! Guest guest
Many antibiotics are fungus based and OLE attacks fungi. > > > > I have seen autism docs report and other reports that children are not > > only born with viruses, but also get them from pets, insects and other > > biting vectors, and from other people. Guest guest
I think strength of product (percentage of oleuropein) makes a difference. It was a silver bullet for my son during his last PANDAS flare a couple years ago. I immediately started it again when he got sick again last year and had no benefits from it. We restarted it 2 months ago at a higher quality and boom...big improvement. We're currently using Swanson's (Superior Herbs line) with 20% oleuropein in a 750mg cap.To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sat, March 12, 2011 6:21:07 PMSubject: Re: Olive leaf extract? Guest guest
depending on what you are using it for a liquid may not get enough in him and you may need to force the pill. things like strep require high doses you simply can't get in liquid forms From: Judy Florido Sent: Friday, March 11, 2011 9:17 PM To: mb12 valtrex Subject: Olive leaf extract?
