Guest guest
I find this to be true as well with the prodigy meter. if it beeps pretty quick after I poke my finger it will give me a reading that sounds right, but if I got to hold it there a while like you are talking about it is mostly not the right reading or it will say sugar is low. Dave said to use both sides of all the fingers and I find that this has helped me. with twenty different spots to work with, well it does help and you should maybe give it a try. some times I will run hot water over my hands first and I will poke my self twice in the same spot and 3 times if needed. also I will kind of squeeze my finger for ten seconds before I put the strip up to it and mostly this helps. good luck. problems lately with getting enoug blood or any blood on the strip I know I am squeezing my finger in the right spot but a lot of times I have to hunt around on the strip before the blood will go into it. If that happens, it tends to read very low and obviously not right. I have found if it gives me the beep to tell me the blood is on and it beeps pretty much right away, my results come out fine for me. I don't know what is going on with it lately. tia for any help with this. ps My sugar this morning was around 100. later all -- Please visit my website at www.samobile.net/users/scott2089 My skype is scott20122012 Have a great day! 73's kb0clz
