Guest guest
Just one month ago I had to take a little trip down the mississip, I mean over to the hospital with the heart in a crazy mood they call A Fib. well now at the same time I wasn't paying any more attention to my sugar then you would of a big black bear coming to bite your butt off! my sugar was running between 300 and 400 and this honey is way to damn high if you plan you go on living! some times we folks who think we got the world by the horns, can be fooled with such as I had that evening. I ask the ambulance fellow in the back with me why they had the whistle on? he said I was in a life and death type of situation and time was most important. now when you hear this kind of answer it seems to cause you to stop and pay close attention and reflect a bit on your life up until that moment. I certainly wasn't proud of my life style at that moment and knew death could be waiting close at hand for me to step over. Well the Lord simply hasn't finished the little job he has for me to do or I wouldn't be here at this moment doing the ramble! The saw bones there at the hospital think they got to come clean with you and tell it like it is or could be, so they let me know how they strongly feel my out of control sugar is why the heart acted up and done the A Fib dance. they had to throw in as how continuing to ignore the high sugar, caused from eating to much and the wrong types of carbs, that I may not be as lucky the next time. Now after they laid it out on the table for me to look over, then they wish to know what do I plan to do about it? Now as many times as I have been in the hospital since 2007, no one had actually put this q to me. What did I plan to do about it was the question! not we or you and those who dig having you around, but only what was I going to do about the out of control sugar? What a fine turn around did I right then in the hospital those 2 days! went from sugars between 300 and 400 all the time, to now one month later of between 90 and 120 95% of the time! how did I do it? this is the simple part of everything that happened. I always knew how to do it the right way, but all of us can talk the talk, but how many can walk the talk? you got to prove to you and your doctor's that you not only know what to do, but you can and will do it all the right way. the numbers will prove out and tell the truth. your meter won't lie to you and the scales won't lie either. I can assure you that if you play with fire long enough, you will get burned! I played with fire for a long time, but the whole time I knew how to do the right moves to put me where I am to day. so another grate q is, why didn't I start much sooner? as soon as any of you find the answer to this q, please would you let me know? none of us has any clue when we will check out of this world in these bodies we got on right now, but why speed it up when you can slow it down? We all mostly can control those things that we can control on our own and leave the rest to God. he is much better equipped to deal with those these then we can that are out of our control. I can check my sugar 4 to 8 times a day and have for more then a month now. it does make my fingers sore, but I would rather they be sore then be dead in the dirt. I can do some kind of exercise for at least one hour every day and I won't talk my self out of it, because not moving my big fat butt will make my big fat butt bigger! I don't plan to get any bigger! I'm finished with getting larger. my bad attitude simply got thrown out of my life and replaced with the attitude I have to have in order to control my own eating habits. you all who aren't doing this right now, can start doing it right now or you may not have many more chances to start over. Actually if you really need to know the truth about it? when you know how to talk the talk, but don't walk the talk, then it is a selfish act on your part toward those who care about you and love you. just stop and think how sad they will be when you check out of this world simply because you didn't take this disease serious? to not control what we are personally in charge of is a selfish act and that is all it is. we are just saying no one else in our life matters, but just us, just me! this is exactly what I was doing for more years then I care to admit, but facts are facts. I hate to see those I care about be sad and cry. that really breaks my big pig heart. now it is true that a big truck my run me over to morrow and smash my big lard butt all over the street! however, my sugar will be under control and I would have lost a few pounds before that happened. there will be less of me to ship off to science. I think donating your body to science is about as cool of a plan as it can be. no cost to your loved one's and your dead body can help those who wish to know about diseases like diabetes can learn to save another's life from your unselfish gift! maybe they will cut me up like a chicken and ship me all over the world. how cool would it be to know that the doc that practiced studying my dead belly figured out how to save a small child twenty years after I was dead and gone? Well anyway that is another ramble all by it self, but any body need a number on how to obtain the information you need to check it out I will be very glad to hook you up. read all about it and then it may or may not be for you. maybe my right hand and your right foot could end up together in the same cold locker and we could have a little party! to bad I can't drop pounds by just rambling! I could lose it faster and much easier then exercising it off. let my fingers do the walking!
