Not sure... I have been on iodine for a week and thought I was seeing good things but been waking up with more aches (that had been eliminated with LDN)May need to throttle back the iodine but now afraid to.

Can die off cause extreme fatigue and slight flu-like symptoms? I've experienced the giggles, silly behavior, even hyper and aggressive/irritable stuff. My girls (3 years old) and I have been taking CocoKefir this week and I am more tired than I have ever been in my life. (The website says that their daughter had massive die off signs when they gave it to her). One of my twins is also sleeping like crazy and just seems really out of it. Just wanted to ask if die off can sometimes present itself this way. Thanks.

How much salt are you using Toni? The first 2 weeks there IS major dieoff. I

felt like crap. Fatique and flu like symptoms is very common. I have not known

anyone that didnt feel crappy in the first week or 2. It will get better.

Increasing natural salt will help. Probably at least a tsp a day for an adult.

Making sure you have enough of the companion supplements also helps. Lack of

magnesium is another usual reason people have detox symptoms. Transdermal

Magnesium Chloride really gets the body mag sufficient without the intestinal

problems.

Hang in there, it gets soooo much better.

I had stopped the iodine briefly. I freaked out a bit b/c I felt like a crazy person (so irritable) and my girls' pupils were really dilated. I started the cocokefir to try to heal their guts a bit more. It's weird to me that we are experiencing this much die off b/c I started so slowly and am not even close to being at the full dose (half cup). My daughter seemed to regress a year in one day which is never fun to watch.She seems slightly better today so far. I woke up with yet another killer headache. We are both really itchy too which I read can be die off. This stuff is so strange to me. Hopefully it's doing something good. Ok, I will be more consistent with the salt. The salt actually makes me feel better than the iodine.
