Guest guest
Lou.. I asked you about the pain patch...it really helps w/pain. Could you ask your Dr about it? Well, on second thought, there are a lot of meds that can help you. You haven't taken nearly all of them like I have...always a side effect for me. I'm sorry about the pain. I really relate to you on that subject. MamaSher, age 69. IPF 3-06, OR. NasturtiumsDon't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Just to let you know that my pulmo called today....... And told me that I CAN NOT HAVE ANY MAJOR HIP SURGERY or any major (hours long) surgeries anymore. My lungs are 50% and a 4 1/2 hr. hip replacement is "too high risk" for me and he wanted me to tell the orthopaedic surgeon that tomorrow morning when we go in. I probably will have steroid shots in the hip to help. I am taking some lortab (hydrocodene) tab. that were left from last summer. Pharmacist says it was ok to take them. I called. The pain is unbearable and I need some relief.\ LouIPF '
