Guest guest
Good morning all! Its a beautiful day here around 80's today, not bad for August. We have a week off from waiting for the phone to ring, as the surgons won't be in town till Monday. In many ways that good, less thought of when the call will come! This gives lots of time to explore the city. Jack the weather up your way sounds great. I spent a summer in the White Mtns around Waterville Valley NH. Took several trips into Maine (Well's beach area). ONly neg was the Black flies! YUK! I met many transplanted patients and its a wonder how well they are doing so far. They all agree its worth what we have to go through and the 1st year is difficult for sure. Met a lady from Altanta, GA. who was in town for her 5 year checkup, she looks great and seems to be doing just fine. She did state that she follows the docs orders to the letter though. Also heard of a fellow who after thransplant went to smoking again!! As for us who are waiting, days are good & not so good, but we stick together sharing all of our pos-negs. When you feel your at the lowest, someone else is lower(if that's possible!). Hope all is well as can be with everyone. Remember to "keep the faith & stay the course".
