what kind of snacks do you carry around?

Hi All,

I'd like to get feedback on what kind of snacks people carry around to

deal with hunger pangs.

I find I get hungry at unpredictable times that isn't convenient for

eating a meal. Sometimes just eating a one bite of something will

settle me down until I can eat later...and I find that's all I really

needed...but I have a hard time coming up with what kinds of food to

carry around, that won't spoil or make a mess in my backpack.

Any suggestions? I prefer non-meat items that I could carry around

all day.
