Guest guest
I get hungry when I am tired as well. It's frustrating because I can be aware of the fact that i am more hungry than usual, and know that it's because of fatigue... but i'm still hungry. i dont know the " right " solution. i tend to honor my hunger because to ignore it is uncomfortable, emotionally and physically. and then to get some rest as soon as i can.best, abby It might make you feel better to just eat something light, but also recognize that you're eating because you're tired. I've had an issue with eating when tired or thirsty, and sometimes I can handle it another way, but sometimes I just feel like I *want* to eat a little so I try to be conscious of that. I was having a lot of hot flashes over the summer and into fall, but they seem to have slacked off lately. I'll have to see if they increase again when the weather gets warmer. We keep our house pretty cool in the winter. I won't do replacement therapy, either. Sohni jltsummerwolf wrote: Hi, My name is and I am new to this site. I tend to want to eat when I am tired due to not sleeping well due to hot flashes. i do feel hungrier when I haven't slept and the increased emotionality doens't help. My question is do I honor the feeling of being hungry when it is fatigue??? I try taking a nap but don't feel rested. Eating doens't make me feel less tired. I have tried everything for hot flashes, except hormone replacement which I won't do. I feel when I am tired, I am hungry all day...is the body telling me it needs food or is this emotional rather than biological hunger. Hope someone can relate and offer clarity from their direct experience. Many Blessings to all.
