Breakfast - The Most Frustrating Meal of the Day

Good Morning Friends,

I always hear that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but to me

it's a frustrating battle of " to eat or not to eat " . I wonder if anyone else

has this situation.

I have certain medications that I have to take first thing in the morning (must

be taken with food). What do I do if I'm not hungry? Sometimes my stomach

doesn't wake up until 10:00 am, yet I can't wait that long to take the

medication.

Also, there are times when I feel myself light-headed and needing something in

the morning to stabalize my blood sugar for the morning so I can think clearly

for my work day (which starts early!) ... If I don't eat a little something with

protein (hungry or not hungry), my thinking is slower and cloudy.

So, for the above reasons I find myself eating a breakfast (albeit, small, but

still, a breakfast) even when I'm not feeling hunger. This goes against what I

want to do to maintain the IE lifestyle, yet it's necessary at the same time.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to handle this or if they have the same tug of

war with breakfast (or any other meal of the day)? Thanks for any input you

have to offer!
