You all made such good and different points... Laurie you seemed to lock in and hit the " nerve " of my message and the suggestions you made were really great. I have turned up the self care... a lot... and it feels good. I will keep reminding myself just how important that is. And also, as you said, all I had to do was focus on eating my next meal when I was hungry and stopping when satisfied. That really helped me to get back on track. Virginia and Josie, thanks for reminding me that sometimes we all have a difficult time and that it is really quite normal. We also seem to have the same thing in common which is the basic gut reaction that says IE is the right way for us and that we need to try to be patient and just keep on. I am keeping on...the patient part, well I'm working on it! And your point about our bodies having to get used to yet another change, was simple and brilliantly true. I have been around this weight for a good 20 years, of course my body needs time to adjust... it's all part of loving ourselves to give it the time it needs.
