May,

What a beautiful daughter you have. She is stunning. Her dress is really pretty and she looks so very happy. Mom does not look too shabby either. You look waaaaay too young to be mother to a bride.

edinburgh is our capital city and is 40miles from glasgow.

one hour on the motorway. rosanna went to university there

and she loves it. it has the castle on the hill right on

the main city centre street and our new scottish parliament.

they seem to have stayed on the east coast. whereas glasgow

has a river running through it.

i'm glad they enjoyed it despite the weather and our not so

great hospitality. its very difficult to get good service.

stupid people turn away business instead of operating an

all hours service.

This might get me in trouble-- but when I read that Andy kissed Lady May's toes, I found myself thinking, "Why in the world didn't I marry a Scot?" Not that Don hasn't been a terrific husband, because he has. But a little lacking in the romance side. Ooops I'd better exit this topic. Babs thanks for jumping in there. How about we go? I've always wanted to go over there and see my family heritage too. I've never heard of the River Dee, but would love to see it. kBarbara wrote: Babs here jumping in.... :)I just remembered that the young Scotsman I was engaged to was born inEdinburgh but raised in San , Texas. He would visit Edinburghat least once or twice a year there and told me I would love it.And since I'm descended from a Scotsman, Andro Deas (later changed toDees) from the River Dee, I would be excited beyond all belief to seewhere my ancestors lived. I'm going to see if I can rent anything onScotland that would give me a good idea of what I'm missing....sigh.And of course, I'm enamored of several Scotsmen..Craig Ferguson, PaoloNuttini, McEvoy, Gerard and of course, Connery...Iwas probably meant to marry a Scots! LOL!My goal is to keep this PF from progressing so I can actually make atrip across the pond someday....

:)Hugs to May and her family on their joyous occasion!!!Babs in Texas> > > > not long home from wedding. 3am here.> > > > took 120 photos but they need to be reduced> > > > before able to post or email so i have reduced> > > > a few and posted them.> > > > > > > > she was beautiful.> > > > andy's speech had us all laughing> > > > graham said such wonderful things about how he feels about rosie> > > > everybody's outfits looked great> > > > food was delish - cheese basket with mozarellla, tomato, basil, > > > olive,> > > > red pepper jus - chicken wrapped in parma ham with mustard mash > > and > > > a > > > > white chocolate mouse.> > > > > > > > lots of champagne and wine and dancing - band were good. all
