Guest guest
This is something I have found hard, though I am new to IE and know this process takes time. But I may have made a tiny bit of progress! Tonight I was at a meeting where the table had plates of food-not sweets but crackers, cheese, salami, fruit. It was my first time with this group so naturally was a little anxious, a perfect excuse for overeating. The good news is that I had a bit of cheese, a couple of strawberries, then stopped and realized I wasn't hungry and I stopped. A miracle. Being here is helping me continue the work of listening to my body and not my head. Thank you all. Virginia
Guest guest
Thanks for posting this, Virginia, and congratulations! These victories mean so much, and it's nice to be reminded how great it feels to be responsive to what your body wants and not use food for other reasons (none of which work anyway, LOL!).
