CalorieKing is a good site but I think it mainly features food from

restaurants.

I have not used it in some years. If I can find the blamed file I have a

good file of all kinds of foods in alphabetical order. If anyone wants it I

wold be glad to send it to you.

was for real, didn't you? 1000 is low enough if you trust my pig opinion. only

snack I have is cold water, unless the sugar is below 90. I use to eat in one

meal now what I eat all day! how crazy is this?

I will send the guide to you and anyone else who would like it. I found it

online and edited it to make it easier for us to use with screen readers.

I used to go to calorie king a lot. my impression then, about 2

years ago, was that you can go to the site but if you download their

software it is not usable. now that may have change, I'll go there

today again. I like sparkpeople.com. you can join free, everything is

accessible, and there are groups you can join, lots of them, and some

are diabetic. There are also disability groups. I love it there. I

would advise you try both and do what you like. not sure who has the

best charts for carbs, fiber, etc. I'll go through there today as soon as

I get all of these people out of here, and who should I bleme for that?

Well, I wanted to show you some things but my computer is on the verge

of dying and will not coppy and paste. I'll tell you what I know: i just

went there,

and the software is $49 . I did not download it because I can't till I

get a new computer. Someone will have to find out if it is accessible.

Joining gives

you a lot of tools for writing your own diet and exercise information,

and not sure what else. However, I wanted to see if we could get to the

food database

with no joinging and no buying. Yes! oh they have all of the carbs and

everything else yo would want. it is a couple of pages in, and it isn't

that hard

to find. I looked up some bread information and it was great. So we have

that, and sparkpeople.com which I thik you will find accessible and

enjoyable.

Of course there oare other sites and we can go to google and get some

more ideas also. So, have fun!
