Guest guest
We've also started cidin with our 5 year old and he has a serious Herx effect from it. We've gotten his yeast and bacteria down (none on his last Metametrix stool test) with other things, and at one time, he reacted this way to OLE and GSE too, but now he handles high doses of those fine and we are thinking he has viral issues so we tried this and sure enough, he is reacting to even 3 little pellets! I can't seem to get him past that dose, when I go higher by even one pellet, we see serious emotional problems and sensory becomes a problem again. Does this mean he probably has a virus associated with his MMR vaccine? My question about dosing is, do I treat this like his antimicrobials and keep increasing to get through the herxheimer stuff until he reaches a point of calm or do I keep the dose low until he tolerates that and then increase as he tolerates it, slowly? With his antimicrobials, when we see irritation, we plow through it increasing the dose until his behaviors get better, that becomes his new maintenance dose. I just don't know, if it's the same with viral issues... > > > Has anyone used monolaurin and what brand did you use? Thanks. >
