Guest guest
You need to do a trail of either azithromycin or augmentin and see if the symtoms go away. Find a doc knowledgeable in PANDAS. Where do you live? Guest guest
Eye squinting for my son is strep/PANDAS. The marker that most kids have is Gamma Haemolytic Strep, but my son has both Alpha and Gamma, so I don't know for sure. If you do not see severe PANDAS symptoms, start with OLE and lots of strep free probiotics and avoid yogurt and nystatin. If you start seeing serious tantrums and OCD, join the PANDAS board and start thinking about zithromax and/or augmentin. Guest guest
Misty, I'm in TN as well. The best docs I've found are nowhere near here though that may have changed since I abandoned my search for one 5 yrs ago. Just my opinion but we've worked with many who know PANDAS and is the best. He's in Dr. Neubrander's practice in Edison, NJ which is a long trip but he really knows his stuff and is a joy to work with. Hope OLE's a benefit to you child, it's huge here.
