Hey Mom to Sienna...

No, I haven't used it. However, that being said, you should check your water to

make sure you aren't putting in what you are trying to take out...meaning, test

your water for aluminum and lead.

I assume you have also gotten rid of your aluminum pans, etc. (not baking with

baking powder with aluminum)...

Also, if you juice - the malic acid in apples and the vast minerals in carrots

help chelate those metals. So apple carrot juice. It's tasty!

I have this for my son. It is supposed to be more gentle than EDTA, and DMSA. You may need to supplement zinc. I have only just started it and it seems that my son is having some die off from it. More hyper and emotional. I also use a clay bath for detox and I have noticed alot more black sediment at the bottom of the tube, so it seems that it is working at loosening the metals out of his tissues.I have not retested him yet for heavy metals. I will do that again in about 6 months since his levels were quite high for lead, arsenic, and cadmium. My daughter's porphyrins test shows a high amount of lead and aluminum and my DAN wants to start my daughter on Bio Chelat.Has anyone else used this for there child and what was your experience with it?Thank you,Mom to Sieanna 31 months

Thanks ,

Yes we are in the process of changing everything just got the news of the metals

today. What pots and pans are a good brand to use?I don't think I am going to

test the water just start filtering it out. Thanks for the apple and carrot juice

advise, we bought a juicer a while back but I have still been buying the green

goodness smootie from Whole Foods but now that I know how good the apple/carrot

is for the metals I will be using that too :)

many hugs for your time,

daughter's Dan has her on 30 mg of Zinc a day so I am good there. Can I ask how

old your son is and is he talking yet?

Any brands are fine. You want stainless steel pots and pans. Glass bakeware, Pyrex works but you can get glass bakeware for less money, just make sure you can bake in it. While you're at it you should only use glass in the microwave, if you microwave.

Good luck!

Stan is 5 1/2, 44 lbs and has been diagnosed with high functioning autism at age 3 1/2. He developed normally until 14 months at which time he had his vaccines, got sick, and stopped talking, stopped answer to his name , began repetitive behaviours, etc.At 3 1/2 he had only one to two word sentences. His verbal skills have greatly improved over time. I used melatonin to get him to sleep through the night and this seemed to help with verbal skills as well. He had cradle cap at 3 1.2 and this went away when I started using Olive Leaf Extract, turmeric and GSE.We treated for tapeworm withParagone for Kids, GSE, aloe vera juiceSupplements he has been on consistently areNatural Factors - Olive Leaf extractNordic Naturals CLO+DEnzymatic ResveratrolBulk - Non irradiated organic turmeric - some people use Enhansa but the bulk turmeric is much cheaper and you get the entire natural product.GSE (for about 9 months but not on it now)Easy Bones - Calcium Magnesium supplementBromelainWhat I thought helped with speechReducing the tapeworm load - I'm not sure we got it all and it may be growing back, had to stop Paragone because of IGG reaction to Black Walnut Hull. Tapeworm was not the only worm I saw in his diaper, there were many other things that came out that didn't belong there.Melatonin5-HTPB6 and DMGWe also used chlorella for a while, and I may revisit that.He is interacting with other kids and on a good day it is hard to tell him apart from the other kids. When he gets frustrated or overwhelmed with sensory load (has problems filtering multiple stimuli) he bits his hand and bangs his head with the other hand.He used to be clutsy, and was hyposensitive to pain and had no interest in playing with anyone or interacting with other people. He used to have really bad constipation and his poops were like tiny little black goat poops. After the cradle crap disappeared he became more coordinated and responsive to pain and aware of his surroundings. His poops are almost normal now, but we have had many variations and issues along the way. He is also completely toilet trained (for peeing at age 4 and poop at age 5), so I can't check through the poops as easily as when he used a pull up.He's a very picky eater and I have consistently been giving him organic Apple Cider and Carrot juice with most of his supplements mixed into the first morning juice on an empty stomach since he was 3. Hope this helps. Thanks for the reply,I would really like to know how your son is doing so please keep us informed. Sienna's mom,

Before chelating, I strongly encourage you to research EDTA, which is the

chelator. You should find out the half life of EDTA, which will tell you how

often to dose. Your Dan probably doesn't know that (mine didn't). I also

encourage you to research what is the smallest dose you can give your child, and

to look into other chelators to determine if EDTA is really the best one for

your child. It looks like your DAN is into oral chelating instead of IV

chelating. That's a good thing.

We use the Andy Cutler chelation protocol. It's frequent, low-doses, which

account for the half-life of the chelators and minimize side-effects. I

recommend it. But whatever you do, research EDTA.

Maggied.

Forgot to mention B12 nasal spray and folate. These I use sometimes, and have found that there are some verbal gains with those as well.A good chart for supplements and what they are used for can be found atThanks for the reply,I would really like to know how your son is doing so please keep us informed. Is there any possible chance of hidden mercury? If so, EDTA moves it around but

doesn't carry it out. If mercury is there, this can be a problem to use EDTA

first. Just a thought.

I did buy this stuff early on and try it for a few days, prior to deciding on

AC. He tested that this was bad for him with my ND who uses that biomeridian

testing thing to test supplments. He always tests well for DMSA, this is an o.k.

one for lead. If aluminum was really high there's one out called Feralex-G you

can ask your DAN about. Dr. Blaylock mentions this with high doses of vitamin C

calling it " shuttle chelation " . Aluminum is a tough one. Lead takes a long time

because it's stored in the bones. Also read up on modified citrus pectin. In a

study, on day 7, kids dumped like 500% lead. seemed impressive.
