Guest guest Posted April 13, 2012 Report Share Posted April 13, 2012 I noticed to day while on my no where bike that after twenty minutes I wanted to stop. I had to give my pig self a pep talk to finish the last ten minutes. I use to have kind of the same problem when eating just a little. I always make a pot of soup that will last 4 or 5 days. so when I finish my first cup of soup I will think about getting just one more. mostly I don't though. I know me way to well and the second will mostly led to a third and a fourth. they always told me back in school that if you wanted to drop some weight, then use a smaller plate or bowl. this never worked very well for me, cause I just had to fill it up more times. now take my no where bike again. can't figure out if it is better to ride it for 30 minutes straight, or ten minutes 3 times? I think the best is the 30. seems to me I seen one time that 20 or longer is how the exercise can burn calories the best. I use to ride my no where bike for one hour before I stopped. I tried drinking water when I rode, but gave my self a bath more then in my mouth. I do notice that my bike is in need of a seat belt. I continue to slide down and sit on my back. you know that stuff they use now to keep bags closed? Velcro or vell crow? anyway I need some of that on my seat and on my butt, this way I will stay in one spot up right and not on my back or off to one side. I still remember being able to ride a real bike when I could see as a teenager and young adult. I certainly do miss those days. seems like I wasn't as fat then as I seem to be now. I heard there is a web site here in the City where you can hook up with some one who rides a bike made for 2. that does sound cool, but I wonder if he or she would notice when I wasn't peddling? I mean I would be the guy in the back and they wouldn't have eyes in the back of there head, so maybe I could get away with it some times? my luck they would tell me we were going up hill and I had to peddle harder, when all along they were the one's who had put there feet up on the handle bars and was enjoying the ride. maybe I need to see about a bike made for 3 instead? well so far I haven't missed a day on the no where bike or walking around the kitchen island since I started this journey on March 5'th of this fine year 2012. to day is the 12'th, so this makes day 39. again I would pat my own back, but all ready done that with my milk and hurt my dain arm! now I wish to leave you all with a little saying my sister told me many moons ago. it goes like this! I think I'm groovy and I think I'm grand, I go to the movies and hold my hand! I put my arm around my waste and when I get fresh, I slap my face! this is kind of the way my left over milk in the half gallon jug made me feel to day! makes me kind of eel bad though, thinking of all the milk cows that now have nothing to do with all that extra milk they got that there calf can't drink. I wonder what the farmer is doing with it? probably giving it to the hogs! maybe he is a fat cow him self and simply don't think milk can hurt him?
