Another one lost to this dreaded disease

Hi all,

I was just looking on Yahoo home page and saw that Bernie Mac is

another unfortunate person to die from this horrible disease from

sarcoidosis only at the age of 50. He had been in remission for 3

years, got pneumonia, and died from complications. They went on to

explain how sarcoidosis is an inflammatory lung disease that causes

tiny lumps of cells in the body's organs, and so on. He was one of my

favorite comedians. This is so sad but just lets you know you are

never safe from this disease. I have not had a really bad cold for

nearly 3 months now and some days I don't even think about being sick,

then other days, whammy, reality kicks in again. Only 50 years old and

taken away. Really scary.

My daughter just called and an aunt and uncle of one of her friends

were just killed in a head-on collision about an hour ago. My son-in-

law is volunteer firefighter, so he had to go and help get them out.
