Guest guest Posted March 20, 2012 Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 So far in 2 weeks I haven't tested my meter with the test solution. mainly the reason for this is the 2 bottles I got are both 2 years out dated. now where do I get a new bottle? plus how much should I test my meter with the solution? best I recall with out looking, that each bottle of strips has a range as where the test should be if it is correct? am I correct or wrong about this? I'm wondering because this morning my first test said my sugar was 98. ok this I know was wrong. so I try again. this time it was 138. this could be right, but tried again and the third time was 121. I'm going with the 138 because this is closer to where it runs first thing of a morning. makes me wonder if all the other days are coming out like this morning? 2 weeks ago I did take it at home before going to see the specialist and his 140 test was very close to my reading before of 137. I know these meters will never always be right and there is a ten% or higher error in our readings either way. well anyway I suppose I just need to get a new bottle of test solution at my drug store is where I will look first.
