I have a very long and painful history of dieting, food issues and my BED which I have since I was a young college student in the early 80's, and I have just turned 50 in Jan, so it is easy to see that is it over half my life, way too long. I am a vegan and would love to learn to make friends with food and my body. I want to learn to eat when I am hungry, stop when I feel pleasantly full and eat enjoyable healthy vegan meals. I can not even remember a day in nearly 28 years when food, my body and binging were not a daily fight. I want to unlearn all the things I have been doing to myself and learn to eat with pleasure and not as a shot of novacaine to obliterate every negative emotion. Some things about me, in case you wanted to know : I am a : huge lover of music, animals, nature and film. I am an Aquarian, and am very spiritually minded however not into any form of religion that is either fundamental or evangelical. I love long walks and also my treadmill. I spend a lot of time in the UK as I am in a long distance relationship. I love ethnic food, most especially Indian, Thai, Mexican, Asian fusion. Glad to be here !
