Guest guest
I was laid off work about 6 weeks ago, and my severance package has ended. This, of course includes medical insurance and prescriptions. Was wondering if anyone knew of any ligitimate prescription assistance programs that would help me pay for prescriptions for about 3-6 months until I can get started on my new job and have coverage again. I cannot afford COBRA, and my disability income won't go back into affect for another 3 months or so. I was making to much to earn my disability check when I had my job. I'm not eligible for medicade have a small retirement fund which I will get into as a last result. Any thoughts of feedback on my situation would be appreciated. When I do get my disability income back, I will also be getting medicare, but as most of you know, that takes a while to get. I have 3 meds that I am uable to take the generic meds for, so my out of pocket expense will be greater for these three prescriptions. Again, thanks for any thoughts on this.
