Off Topic/Back from Oklahoma/Met Craig Ferguson!!!

Hi all! h and I made it home safely from our trip to see Craig

Ferguson in Oklahoma. We had such a blast, and I got to meet Craig in

person in the hotel lobby. He's a really nice man, very good looking

and thinner in person. He talked to me for a few minutes before going

up to his room. The man is unpretentious. He arrived alone and checked

himself into his room. No celebrity ego here....

The show was great. He is so hilarious in person. Has a potty mouth,

but I knew that beforehand and since I also have a cussing problem it

wasn't an issue.

h had so much fun, and met the warm-up comedian later at the

hotel when she went for ice...long story short, when they're next in

Austin they are meeting us for dinner at the BBQ place near our house.

Seriously, and not even joking, I get to have dinner with Craig

Ferguson sometime in the future!!!

Plus, the young warm-up comedian gave h his MySpace info and told

her to keep in touch. This bodes well for front seat tickets in

September!!!

I just had to share y'all! This was a wonderful week-end and not one

I'll forget anytime soon!

The casino was great, except I lost my alloted spending money...dang

it! h managed to come home with a tidy sum in her pocket however.

The smoke in the casino wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. The show

was non-smoking so that was great. We enjoyed ourselves completely and

will go back for other shows in the future.
