I'm not getting myself back on a sleeping schedule to see if I can straighten this out. Turn this around. I'm going to bed before 11 and waking up at 6. Last night was a rough night. It does havoc on my eating. When I don't sleep I crave refined carbs and sugar. Which are triggers for me. I need help getting back on track. Does anyone want to partner up with me??? Thanks, DebbieDebbie
Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I am a little confused about the sleeping problem, though I am certainly sympathetic to fatigue making you crave sugar! The same thing happens to me. Are you trying to get back on a sleeping schedule, or saying that you don't want this? What do you wish your sleep routine looked like? Are you waking frequently, or just not sleeping enough? And what have you tried to address the issue so far? Best, Abby I meant to say.....I'm getting myself back on a sleeping routine./schedule. Guest guest
Hi Abby,I sent an email with a correction! I'm trying to get myself on a sleeping schedule. The Doctor gave it to me. So what I've started to do is go to bed in between 10-11. Take an hour of winding down. By reading, praying, or journaling. Wake up no matter how tired I am at 6:00 A.M. I know if I can get at least 4-6 hours uninterrupted sleep the cravings won't be so strong. In fact I won't have any. I'll feel more focused and rested. I know I've gotten way off track because of the sugar I've been consuming. I've done everything under the sun to address this!! So now were trying to get me on a sleep schedule to see if this will help get my sleep rhythm back. All this is happening because I'm in peri menopause. Just one of the symptoms. That is really the only symptom I have. Praise God!!I was looking for support to get back on track. That was earlier this afternoon. Now I'm back on track. Thanks for writing.Debbie Subject: I need HELP! To: IntuitiveEating_Support Date: Thursday, October 7, 2010, 1:13 PM>> >> > I have been having trouble with sleep.
