Guest guest
the doc specialist has lowered my dinner shot of 20 units to 17 units starting to day. my bed time reading since I have been on the flex pen has been as follows. 145--114--157--111--112--119. I didn't ask the nurse why when she called me to let me know of the change, but I'm wondering if he thought the 20 units at dinner may send my sugar to low over night? when I told him in his office I would like to keep my readings under 120 most of the time, he said that was a bit to low. seems to me between 100 and 120 is where it should be most of my readings. all my morning readings is as follows. 191--153--177--151--104--149--137 In my opinion only once since I started the flex pen my reading was what he might call to low at 104 and to me it is ok. to day is only the seventh day on the insulin pen and he has all ready dropped my evening shot to 17. hoping you guys can help me to understand what he is maybe thinking to do this so soon. thanks.
