Guest guest
hi Molly, It sounds like you might be building muscle... I would just say continue your exercising, eat high protein diet (without shakes), and drink lots and lots of water. You can do it!!!! We're behind you. So I am busting my butt, working out every morning, and it's taking soooooo long to just lost the 4lbs i've lost in the past 3 weeks. Any suggestions? I work out at Curves Mon, Wed, Fri, I use the treadmill (1.5 miles) Tues, and Thurs, then either Curves or treadmill on Sat. What else can I do? The nutritionist told me not to do protein shakes, because too much calories before surgery. hmmphf. Guest guest
Oh yes, but they stated that their doctor did not want them drinking them due to the calorie intake...so I was suggesting high protein diet without the shakes is all. indiaink99@... wrote: In a message dated 8/26/06 5:14:52 AM Pacific Daylight Time, shaunasings1974@... writes: > I would just say continue your exercising, eat high protein diet (without > shakes), Why do you say eat high protein without shakes? Guest guest
Molly, there are protein shakes out there with little or no sugar in them.....Isopure is one......go to bariatriceating.com they have a sample pack. This morning I had a strawberry white choc. was 112 cal. and 21 grms protein...Yum! That was my breakfast....also if you do weights it is true that muscle burns more fat...so try adding a weight program 3 or 4 times a week.///It will help I promise! Good Luck sweety...exercise is good for the soul! Debbye MrsMolly wrote: Ok, well being that I am still pre-op, I still have 9 more pounds to lose before surgery on October 4th.
