Guest guest
I had it on my skin and I was quarantined and no one was allowed to touch my wound unless fully gowned and gloved. I had to have a change of bandage every day for awhile and finally it healed. I now put Bag Balm on it every so often. I’ve heard the respiratory type is much more difficult to take care of. Tigger (Ruth) in Rhode Island _____ From: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group [mailto:Fibromyalgia_Support_Group ] On Behalf Of Marti Boguski Sent: Tuesday, January 01, 2008 3:40 PM To: fibromyalgia_support_group Subject: MRSA Hi Everyone, I have a question about MRSA. My son 30 has just been dx with the respitory type of MRSA. I was wondering if any of you know much about this and it's outcomes. I know what it is. I'm just worried about him and would like to know if anyone has had it or know anyone who has and what their outcome was. In case you don't know, which I didn't, MRSA is Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, which is a virulent strain of Staph that is highly resistant to antibiotics. Mostly people who work in hospitals, or are in hospitals get it, and he works in a hospital. Thank you and keep him in your thoughts please, Marti --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Gosh, Marti, I don't have experiences to share with you. Sounds like it could be difficult to get well again. I will keep the both of you in my prayers. Jeanne in WI > Hi Everyone, > > I have a question about MRSA. My son 30 has just been dx with the > respitory type of MRSA.
