Why is she bruising so easily lately?

Lately, I've noticed Maia is bruising a lot more easily. She had this bruise on

her forearm the other day and I'm not quite sure how she got it. Her

preschool's been on spring break this week, so it wasn't that she got hurt at

school. She's been home and hasn't been obviously hurt that I can see.

She's also been doing a lot of climbing (the spatial problem solving thing is

driving me up the wall -- I can't keep anything out of her reach, she WILL find

a way to access the things she wants, even if they're kept in places super out

of reach). Her shins are all bruised (I guess from having contact with corners

of shelves and cupboards when climbing) -- but I don't think she banged it hard

-- but she's got all these little bruises all over her shins.

Any reason why she may be bruising so easily lately? The slightest contact with

any surfaces and she bruises. It's a little unusual for her.
