Guest guest
Make sure you stay well hydrated. I'm having that today myself. I'm hurting terribly from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I'm forcing water down--it usually helps. Actually this is good advice for everyone. Stay well dehydrated BUT do NOT drink large amounts of water at a time. For one thing it stresses out the kidneys too much. ~Jennie **************************************See AOL's top rated recipes (http://food.aol.com/top-rated-recipes?NCID=aoltop00030000000004)
Guest guest
Jennie, Thank you for the hydration hint on bone pain. I have this all the time. I try to drink water, but sometimes I don't drink enough. Great reminder. Annie --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Mardi, if you believe it is actual bone pain.... the only thing that helps that is Ibuprofen. I know this only because I use to be a hospice nurse and that is what I was taught. Patients who had cancer which spread to the bones were told that Ibuprofen was the only thing that helps with that. I really don't know why. You might try it. hugs, Debra V. Mardi wrote: My sister and I both have FMS, though she was diagnosed six years ago. Since it turned cold & rainy here in SC I have noticed my bones aching unmercifully! She says it happens to her, but so rarely it doesn't phase her. This has been an on-going problem for me for years (apparently I've had FMS for ages & looking over the " early onset " posts maybe even since childhood!) and I have yet to find ANYthing to really relieve the pain. I'm on Cymbalta which eases the daily aches & even helps me sleep. However, when I get stressed or the weather changes the FMS flares & I just can't manage the pains. It's not really joint or muscular, but the actual bones. Any suggestions? Thanks, y'all! Love from Mardi --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals?
