Guest guest
Oh OK - then it's a brand of guafenesin that's available by prescription. This is often cheaper than buying the Mucinex OTC. Patti - Is he trying it for your FM or for chronic sinus/bronchitis type symptoms? Guest guest
He has given it to me for pain purposes. When I asked the pharmacy they told me some doctors have been prescribing it to fibromyalgia patients these days. The insert specifically states it can be used for that purpose. I am to use it twice a day...I just haven't begun taking it because I didn't know much about it. Since I get my meds from this doctor through the mail, I was surprised when this Theramine was added along with my others. He had not told me he was going to try me on it. I did call his office and was told that they are trying this with some of their more chronic patients to see if it works along with the other meds to help control pain. So I guess I will give it a try. Thanks for your help. Patti Dave and Jeanne wrote: Oh OK - then it's a brand of guafenesin that's available by prescription.
