My son is 4 years old with autism. We started to use Valtrex today. The symptoms

that I notice so far is lots of sneezing and a runny nose (colds symptoms). Is

this normal. Im excited, but also nervous about starting this treatment.

Wow that great that his body is already taken to the Valtrex we also started my

daughter(30months) on Valtrex today.

Our dan said to give her 250 mg twice a day but I started out with half so she

got 125 twice today.

I haven't noticed any difference yet.

So he is getting 250 mg's three times a day?

I thought that is what my daughter should be getting as well but my dan only

gave my daughter 250 twice a day...maybe it's based on weight.

Funny thing that you said that you son had runny diarrhea, my daughter didn't go

at all today.

Do you have your son on a antifungal? Sieanna is taken Difulcan & Berberine for

yeast.

Please keep posting how it's going for your son either to the board or you can

email me directly..I would love to see how he's doing?

Best Wishes,
