Guest guest
Hi, We received the results of our son's OAT test and as many friends suggested from the group, my son is still fighting yeast issues, even after a stool sample came back negative. His pediatrician wanted to put him on Risperdal or Abilify--needless to say, we aren't doing that. He has done numerous courses of Nystatin and Difulcan and we still have yeast, which results in stimmy behaviors. I would appreciate any input on what supplements you might suggest from these markers that came back high in my sons test results. He has high: Furan-2,5-dicarboxylic Carboxycitric Hippuric Quinolinic / 5-HIAA Ratio Very high 2-Hydroxyhippuric We are wondering if we should take him to see a pediatric gastroenterologist as we have been fighting yeast since he was born. Also, we have tried so many different probiotics and wondering if any of you have any suggestions on what to try? I am grateful for your continued help.
