Guest guest
seems to me that if every one would follow a diabetic diet, no one much would have a weight issue or have bad health. of course there is cancer and strokes and getting ran over by a car, but most would have good health over all by following a diet that a diabetic eats with good sugar control. most T 2 diabetes is from over eating and having to many pounds hanging on. the T 1 is born with it and it is some what different then what a T 2 has. the diets though will work grate for both types and if the whole world would follow and eat and exercise the same? well wouldn't be the need for so many doctor's. we got some restaurants here in OkC that serve only healthy food and they are never packed. those restaurants that are all you can eat and there food is loaded with tasty carbs and fat are standing room only. I have heard there is more people running around right now who are a T 2 and haven't been told yet, then there is diabetics that they know about. they also said heart disease is number one killer in America, but they believe diabetes will in only ten years be number on instead. how many carbs do you think the normal Joe Blow eats in one day? I heard it is around 300. this sounds like a lot to us, but it is only 100 per meal and when you stop to figure up what they are mostly eating in a meal, then it isn't so hard to figure why. I was one of them for many years and probably would be still to day if my heart didn't get sick because of high sugars. I'm telling you right now I have learned real fast that you can do best eating right if you don't go out to eat that much.
