Guest guest
Welcome to the group, Christy. I'm sorry to hear that like so many of us, you had to live so long with the fibro before getting a diagnosis of it. Do you find that the Ultram and Flexiril help with your pain? If so, check on some pills that are called leg cramps by Hyland's. They're herbal and I have found that they do a great job of helping me with my RLS and it can get very painful. To him tramadol for the RLS and an occanssional flexeril takes care of it all.... he doesnt understand that sometimes it takes more. Mostly I deal with it on my own and cry a lot. --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
Guest guest
Thanks Debi for the welcome and yes they meds help. Although the doctor that gave me these are for something else alltogether and my rhemuy that finally diagnosed me yesterday wants meds to be the last resort. I got cortizone (sp?) shots in my shoulders yesterday as I also have really bad brusitis (sp?) so once that settles in by the end of the week I am going to start on gentle stretching of my upper body to see if that will help some of the pain go away. I am not going to stretch the lower back/legs until after I have my back surgery to remove the tumor on my spine.
