Guest guest
Hi, Annetta. I have had fibro probably most of my life. My daughter, who is now 28, was diagnosed with it as a teenager and she was also dx'd with MPS much younger. Her 6 year old son has been showing a lot of symptoms of fibro and RLS, but we can't find a dr. who will believe that a child his age could have either one of those things. If I'm any proof and my daughter, too, that fibro can worse with age, then the answer is yes. The only thing that I have noticed that has made a difference between my daughter and I is how early hers was dx'd and how early treatment was started. Also now there are meds available that weren't available years ago that make a difference, so there is hope for your son. Love and gentle hugs, Debi/So.
