Guest guest
I take Trazadone every night. It definitely helps me sleep. If I run out I can tell the difference in my sleep pattern. I think getting the sleep helps my fibro, but I don't really know. I have sleep apnea and so don't get " restful " sleep anyway. That contributes more to my brain fog, I think, than to my pain. Add sleep deprived to fibro and I have a BIG case of brain fog. I do think it would be helpful for her and I don't know of any reason it would exacerbate her fibro symptoms, Marti Dave and Jeanne wrote: charlie - I was on trazadone for years. It helped me to sleep at night. If it helps Babs sleep, then it's a helpful med. I don't think it can hurt the FM, unless for some reason her pain would be worse because of taking the med. I think the only reason I discontinued the trazadone is because my psychiatrist was looking for a way to increase my energy level. The drugs she wanted me to try would interact with the trazadone. Hope it works for Babs. Jeanne in WI > > Does trazodone help or hurt Fibro? I'm so grateful to those of you who > have welcomed us and written to us.
