Guest guest
Not specifically, but it's probably a code name, meaning a alphanumeric name given to a new drug before it comes on the market with a brand name. Did you hear anything in the report about the patient being part of a drug trial? If so, that's probably what it is. In Drake and Drake I found SK listed which is streptokinase. Hope this helps. He was admitted for a bladder infection for adjustment of his immunosuppression and IV antibiotic therapy. One of his discharge medications is " SK 506 two mg b.i.d. " Anyone ever heard of this? Guest guest
oh, and that should be 2 mg b.i.d. Thanks. I knew about the 2 versus two. Just thought FK 506 2 looks confusing, you know? While we are at it, how about any of these: This is about as verbatim as I can figure it. I am leaving out punctuation. Not sure where to put it at this point. I found Rapamune, Bactrim, Protonix is familiar, Flomax. The rest of them are extremely hard to hear. This doc barely speaks English. If you can help I would appreciate it. Steroids 5 Rapamune 2 mg Sustazidone Sustarzine 1 gram q.12 hour Bactrim singular strength p.o. q. day Misolex thrush q.i.d. Protonix 40 mg q. day Urocholine 25 p.o. b.i.d. Flomax 0.4 mg q. day.
