Doc seems to dictate " GC and Chlamydia cultures obtained " , but she types " GC/CZ cultures obtained " . Any idea why? I can't find anything that would indicate CZ for Chlamydia. CT stands for Chlamydia trachomatis assay, per HPI's OB-GYN and GU Words. They do not list a CZ. GC in that book stands for gonorrhea culture. I haven't been able to document this yet but I do know that when I worked in the lab we did chlamydia cultures that were called Chlamydiazyme. I'll keep looking for some documentation on this. It might be the brand name of the culture process they are using.
